"Then Jesus said unto them, children, have you any meat? They answered Him, no. Then Jesus said unto them, cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes." John 21: 5-6
Listen for the voice of the Lord today. What is it you have been trying to do without success? What are you trying to accomplish, that without a word from the Lord, you will not catch any fish? Are you stubborn and you have been told to cast the net on the other side of the boat, more than one time, and you refuse? Do you believe that Jesus makes a difference? If you do, why wouldn't you listen for His voice of reason prior to even setting out on a venture?
God-thinking demands that you follow these three easy steps for a fulfilled life, one that you do what God purposed for you the first time.
1 Choose a goal, a dream or a task at hand that can be sanctioned by God.
2 Purposefully set out to fully understand your role and God's role in getting to your desired end. In other words, acknowledging what you are able to do toward creating your goal and acknowledging what is impossible for your to do and will require the hand/voice of God.
3 Talk to and listen to God while on the journey.
For the supernatural to be in operation on your behalf, you will have to believe that God is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. Part of creation was to incorporate in your soul the ability to co-create with God. Co-creation is enabled by cooperation, i. e., the purposeful action of an individual in alignment with the express will of God. When this happens you have automatic intervention by Sovereign God on your behalf. This is not a static condition that one reaches and then remains there until death. It is a fluid condition that is enabled and disabled by your own actions.
God cannot operate outside of His will and therefore when you make a decision to step outside of the will of God, God cannot participate in that activity. Thus, the constant, or at least, partial frustration that we all live with of feeling like everything is going OK and then we feel like we are on our own and then we get a revelation that puts us back on track and then we get cocky and start to operate on our own power again. Over and over we are fighting the battle against pride and ego. We are winning with 10 seconds on the clock, everyone is excited and we are ready to receive the pennant and then our emotions kick a field goal in the last second and we lose that game/battle.
I'm just saying, cast your net on the other side of the boat today and see if the change makes any difference.
