"Being confident of this very thing, that He hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:" Philippians 1:6
I hope your confidence is in the Lord. I trust God. God chose you to be His child. He planned it from before the foundation of the world. Have you sensed that when you were saved that it was the beginning of a new life? God did it. You didn't do it. You didn't save yourself. You weren't good enough to save. You never did anything that would impress God enough to forgive you your sins. Actually the only part you played at all was to believe that Jesus Christ is your Savior.
God started up your spirit and now God is making a way for you and He will take you to the end. God will make a path, lead the way, give you the necessary components to complete your work, provide for your needs and bless you along the way. You should be looking forward to a wonderful life, full of the grace and majesty of God in your life.
DON'T fall for this world's rhetoric about life. There is evil in the world and there are bad people and there are terrible things that befall even the righteous, but in it and through it there can be the peace of God. Just TV commercials and leftist news casts alone, if you fall prey to their motivation, can take you off course. The things you don't need and the news that never happens shouldn't be steering you. Your motivation should be coming from a personal relationship with the God of your destiny. God will always tell you the truth and God will not alarm you about events that aren't real. God will also comfort you in sorrow and lift you up when things are tough.
You were intended, designed, made to live and thrive and flourish. God will finish what He started in you. You can fulfill your dreams, goals and tasks at hand. You can go on and finish college. You can open that beauty salon. You can have your own mechanics garage. You can get off drugs and be full of the power of God. You will be able to pay your bills and have money left over. But you have to believe it. God provides, you believe, you receive, not once, but throughout your life.
